Summary:
The primary duties of this position are to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the facility's Social Service department according to federal, state, and local guidelines.
Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will posse good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the facility's residents and work with the staff members to ensure the residents' needs are maintained on an individual basis.
Experienced in the needs of the SNF/LTC residents and MDS 3.
0 is a must.
BSW preferred but not required, unless state regulations require a BSW.
The right candidate will also have a minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
